Clean

ing

If the outside

the case is stained, remove the stain by wiping it

lightly with cloth moist

ened

with neutral detergent, and then wipe out

the cleaned surface again with a dry cloth. In case where the surface

got rusty, wipe the s

face with cloth satu rated with alcohol. Do

not

use strong volatile solvents such as benzine or thinner.

When

you clean the surface of the CRT, wipe out the surfaces of the

filter and the CRT carefully with soft cloth moistened with mild

detergent after having the front case and the filter disassembled

first. Under no circumstances shall the abrasive or strong solvents be

used.

And

then, reassemble the filter and front case after having them

thoroughly dried so as to prevent dew from being formed on their

surfaces. Take care

not

to leave any hand

mark

or the like on the

surface

the CRT or filter.

5-2. Calibration
